Hot Dog Get Your Hot Dog at Dog Days

I am in by no means a hot dog fan. When given the choice, just about anytime I will go with what ever option B is. It all goes back to High School when we had to cook about 1200 hot dog and I got to eat them all day. I ate so many I don’t really care for them any more. I occasionally have a hot dog at a baseball game but that’s about the only time I have them.

This week at work we decided to do a team lunch and go out for hot dogs. Being a team player I agreed. The place we went is Dog Days in Norcross, GA. I looked at the menu and i was really impressed. There weren’t regular hot dogs. They had a Mac and Cheese dog, Italian sausages, polish sausages and more. The menu is huge. So looking it over I decided to get the 141 Dog.

The 141, which i believe is named after the road that runs in front of the restaurant (HWY 141). It is a hot dog with grilled onions, bacon, onion rings and barbecue sauce. They have it from 6 oz up to 12 ounces. It amazed me how heavy the hot dog was. I got an 8 ounce dog. It was not the regular hot dog I am used too. I loved having the onion rings on it! Be warned it will be a messy hot dog to eat, but its part of the fun.

The side I got was the Blue Cheese chips. They are fresh cooked potato chips with a dressing and blue cheese crumbles on top. I LOVE blue cheese and I was in heaven. I mean how could you not go wrong with blue cheese and fresh potato chips! Two of my most favorite things in the world.

If you are a fan of Hot Dogs you need to check them out. They have prob 50 hot dogs and burgers and more! Its was very good. Its a super small place and at work there were two people working so it went slow. My guess is they were under staffed that day but it’s def worth the wait.
